1. Definitions

• "We", "Us", "Our" refers to Bless Events.
• "You", "Your" refers to the client hiring goods and/or services.
• "Props", "Hire Items" means all goods supplied by Bless Events for hire.
• "Event Date" means the date specified on the booking or quote.

2. Scope of service

All hire includes delivery, set-up, pack-down, and collection by Bless Events. Hire periods range from 24 hours to 36 hours. The hire period will be confirmed in writing depending on the event and location. Dry hire is available on limited hire items. Hire items remain the property of Bless Events at all times.

3. Booking & payment

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the invoice total is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the Event Date. Bookings are not confirmed until payment of the deposit and acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

A refundable security bond of $300 ($150 for orders under $1,000) is payable with your final balance, 21 days before the Event Date. The bond will be refunded within two (2) business days after collection of hire items, provided they are returned in good condition with no loss, damage or excessive cleaning required. If replacement, repair or cleaning costs exceed $300, the balance will be invoiced to you.

4. Changes & cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing. If cancelled:

• More than 21 days before the Event Date, the deposit is forfeited, no further charges apply.
• 21 days or less before the Event Date, the full hire amount is payable.

Changes to items or dates are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Delivery & collection

Delivery and collection times will be confirmed prior to the Event Date. You must ensure the venue is accessible (clear entry, no obstructions, parking available). Additional charges may apply for difficult access, stairs, or extended setup times.

6. Care of hire items

You are responsible for the Hire Items from the time of delivery until collection. No alterations, adhesives, nails, pins, or tape may be used on Hire Items unless authorised by Bless Events. Damaged, lost, or stolen items will be charged at full replacement value plus any associated costs.

7. Weather & outdoor use

All items are for indoor use. If items are to be used outdoors, this must be agreed in writing. You are responsible for protecting Hire Items from rain, wind, and extreme conditions. Bless Events may refuse to set up items if conditions are unsafe, without refund.

8. Liability

Bless Events will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of Hire Items. It is your responsibility to ensure that the venue or event space is safe for setup and use.

9. Force majeure

If Bless Events is unable to fulfil the booking due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. extreme weather, accident, illness, transport failure), liability is limited to refunding any amounts paid for undelivered services.

10. Photography

By confirming a booking with Bless Events, the client grants permission for photographs to be taken and used by Bless Events for marketing and promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, website and advertising.
